Inventory Bot

I’m currently working on a robot for a simulated production floor that:

1: Detects when it’s inventory (A yellow ball) bin is empty.

2: Follows a black line to the inventory storage area.

3: Picks up one unit of inventory.

4: Sends a signal to another robot that another ball needs to be staged.

5: Follows the line back to the inventory bin.

6: Places the ball in the inventory bin.

7: Repeats the process starting at step 1.


I might also add a safety feature that detects if the ‘bot has hit something it stops. You wouldn’t want people in your automated factory to be run over by robots, would you?

The robot is almost done. If it is possible, I’ll get a picture or two up for you. Once the program is done I’ll post that too. I generally use NQC.
