All sets can be auctioned or sold for a set price. For every LEGO® set ever made, there is someone
who seeks it. Some sets are in demand more than others -- for example,
Forestmen and original Blacktron sets -- but all sets are sellable.
Even sets in the current product line -- still on the shelves of every
store in the world -- can be resold by individuals. Some people have sold brand-new
sets at less than the going retail price. If that sounds silly, consider
the opportunities presented when a large department store goes out of
business and has a 60%-75% off sale.
