Brickbury Herald 7th August 2002 Late Edition

Window crisis hits Brickbury!

Thats right, we have almost run out of windows, but we don’t really care we just keep on drinking. A council spokes person said ‘it doesn’t matter about having no windows, lets just imagine that they are there and let the building and party go on’.

We here at the Herald are inclined to agree. Building works have slowed down considerably since the discovery of Brickhenge a few days ago, far more time is being spent on archeology and sitting around drinking watching the archeologists. However we do hope that the window shortage ends soon.

Despite the window shortage the 24-7 minimart and Ceaser’s Pizza palour were both compleated earlier today. Standing away from many of the rest of the towns buildings, on Castle Street, has done them no harm as they were both inundated by party revelers. Ceaser Lambert, younger brother of the snack stop’s Jean-Luc was pleased that the opening had gone so well and was distributing pizza slices to all attendees.

When asked why Castle Street was called Castle Street despite there being no castle in Brickbury Mayor Autissier replied ‘It would be kinda cool to get a castle one day, you know one of the old ones. Have you tried the four seasons, its delicious, the pepperonis good too. Ooh, could you just top my glass up too’
