Jim Schifeling ("crunch-o-matic", "Acme Comics")
Favorite LEGO toys/themes: Castle, Pirate and things mechanical/industrial in nature
My fascination with LEGO began... My first memories were of a TV antenna Lego piece, I was under five. It was a coffee can of bricks handed down from my uncle, grandma gave them to me in the very early seventies.
I once built... an 8x8 solid tower as tall as myself. I was about 5.
Someday I will build... the USS Constellation to scale with the Pirate ships.
I already did! I'm on the Brickshelf greatest hits top page too!
LEGO is great because... it is art and science at the same time.
LEGO fans are great because... I don't know... some of us can be real nerds. I guess there is a fine line between dork and cool and adults with Lego ride that line pretty tight
My favorite Non-LEGO Toys: Plain old Nintendo Entertainment System.
My favorite Hobbies & Interests: Football, the real kind, some Americans call it soccer for some reason.
My favorite Foods: sushi, sausage, cheese, fat ribeye steaks, coffee
My favorite Movies & TV: Anything with flashing lights & explosions
My favorite Artists: FLW, Escher, Frank Miller, Mike Mignola, Steve Rude, Alex Ross, Brian Hitch
My favorite Music: Goth/industrial/punk/lounge/swing/power-pop/no rap
My favorite Pets & Animals: Two pugs, one named Ichabod and one named Holiday
Words which best describe me: stocky
I love it when... I find a twenty in my pocket I forgot about.
I hate it when... I dribble coffee on a brand new white v-neck t-shirt.
I can't seem to get enough... pickles soaked in habenero vinegar
I always seem to have enough... paperwork
I hope I always... keep the old punker in my soul.
I wish I could... have my own TV show where I go across the world on a motorcycle, seeing the sights, eating the foods and watching the local football teams
I could never... work for someone else ever again.
I hope I never... tell boring weather stories to my grandkids.
I wish I hadn't... dropped out of college.
In my craziest moments... I went on a month long bender with all the employees of the bar I worked at.
Believe it or not... I lived through it.
If I were super-human... I consider myself quite super already.
More & Less: - more Gravy, less Gristle
- more Geeks, less Freaks
- more Pinball, less Pokemon
Rules I try to live by: - Put stuff back where you got it!
- No cash refunds EVER!
- You don't have to like the customer, you just have to pretend to.
