James Seibert ("mangler")
Favorite LEGO toys/themes: I gamemaster pirate wars and castle battles for friends and conventions.
My fascination with LEGO began... Dawn of realization
I once built... the Starship Reliant from McDonalds Happy Meal toys.
Someday I will build... The decadent harbor of Port Royal complete with several taverns, villages, and forts.
LEGO is great because... I don't have to worry about the next version of bricks.
LEGO fans are great because... thinking, building, and philosophical thought are not considered an impediment.
My favorite Non-LEGO Toys: What????
My favorite Hobbies & Interests: Computer games and programming
My favorite Foods: Pizza
My favorite Movies & TV: Conan, LOTR
My favorite Artists: Naismith
My favorite Music: Pink Floyd
My favorite Pets & Animals: A veritable menagiere
Words which best describe me: Dependable, smart, energetic
I love it when... I am in the zone and find every piece I need non-stop in a creation frenzy.
I hate it when... the cats decide that pirate ship must destroyed.
I can't seem to get enough... soldiers and ships.
I always seem to have enough... cannon.
I hope I always... have the manual dexterity to put these blocks together
I wish I could... I don't wish, I try to brighten the world just a little.
I could never... throw Lego away
I hope I never... betray a true friend.
In my craziest moments... I dated too many women, no I take that back.
Believe it or not... I like to ride Harleys.
If I were super-human... I would have the time of my life and fight for justice and maybe stop a few wars along the way.
More & Less: - more Love, less Hate
- more critical thinking, less knee-jerk reaction
- more responsible politicians, less lying cheats
Rules I try to live by: - The Golden Rule
- Sun Tzu The Art of War
- Ten Commandments
Additional comments:
If you like to play with your Lego, I try to run Pirate Wars with rules written by Stephen Gabriel published in Shadis, a gaming magazine. There are also rules for medieval play. I have attended numerous conventions to run the game and a following has developed among those that have played and now some players are running the game in other locations.. The rules are available for free and he has a web site that was submitted to the Lego web site list. So if you are ever in Paducah, Ky and would like to play look me up and prepare to heave to.
