Christian Gemuenden ("my friends call me: Chrissi / my 'acronym' is: xTIAN / but as well known as: Krischan . . .")
Favorite LEGO toys/themes: I collect any cool LEGO© set that I like. I used
to be a true Space Fan, but meanwhile my favourite
theme is "promotional". However, I even have some
Scala, Belville, Duplo, RoboRiders, ZNAP,
Mindstorms, Studio and other stuff. Well, anything
that wears the LEGO© Brand name might end up in
my collection.
My fascination with LEGO began... It never really began - it developped! I used to
PLAY with LEGO© bricks as child (and *loved*
it). Then, the first theme that I seriously
collected was "M-Tron". That era, I was about 10
years old. The collecting became more and more
crazy from then on. I had a couple of "dark
months" when I was sixteen, but I never stopped
collecting LEGO©. I can no more remember any
entire day in my life without having thought about
LEGO© at least one time. There's allways been
some relation to it and I think meanwhile the
minimum is more than once daily. I can't even fall
asleep without having seen the well known LEGO©
Logo before. (that's why my room is full of 'em).
I once built... ... a couple of smaller MOCs. Nothing way cool yet.
Someday I will build... ... something BIG, it's gotta be a huge
"anything", but has to be large and cool. That's
all I know about this project so far.
LEGO is great because... ... there are allways stunning and cool new sets.
I can never wait what products show up next. I
simply like the colors and shapes of the bricks,
as well as the box design etc. I am more addicted
to the LEGO© brand name than to the
possibilities of the brick itself. Of course the
brick is the source of the company and LEGO©
wouldn't be what it is today without the brick.
LEGO fans are great because... ... they are allways helpful and open for
concerns. They usually trust each other and rarely
dispute. My phrase is: "The World is full of AFOLs!"
My favorite Non-LEGO Toys: Nintendo Game Boy ©, Märklin ©
My favorite Hobbies & Interests: Scuba Diving
My favorite Foods: anything made with potatoes is yummy
My favorite Movies & TV: Science Fiction, Classics, Comedy... well anything fun or interesting. Of course, Star Wars © among
My favorite Artists: none right now.
My favorite Music: Everything! It depends on what I feel like and changes daily
My favorite Pets & Animals: nothing special, maybe cats but others as well.
Words which best describe me: Crazy Cherry Hubba Bubba ©©© (my professor once told me about that).
I love it when... ... I am sitting in my room and building a couple
of new sets at once while it's raining outside.
I hate it when... ... all of my friends / relatives / collegues need
my help at once and I have too many things to do.
I hate the feeling when I know that I forgot to do
something but can't remember what it was.
I can't seem to get enough... ... new LEGO© products
I always seem to have enough... ... LEGO© bricks, but never the ones I need.
I hope I always... ... stay creative.
I wish I could... ... fly (no joke). BTW, SCUBA diving makes me feel
like flying a little bit.
I could never... survive more than 24 hours without having seen the
LEGO© Logo once.
More & Less: - more time to do what you want to, less things to do your boss tells you
Additional comments:
As usual I have the feeling that I missed 50% of
what I'd like to add, but I can't remember any of
these right now. So updates will appear here
soon... :)
-1) I'd like to add that my English is terrible,
since I only learned it at school. I know I
mention that rather often, but I'd like to excuse
for all the mistakes I put in my postings, and
this seems to be the right place, I can't write
that into every posting, correct?
-2) Today I'd like to add that the new 'My
website' link on the right (the one to Brickset)
might need some explanation. Of course that's not
really my site, but since I am now
co-administrator over there and I am uploading
many new images by the time, the link has its
right to be here IMHO.
-3) Finally, I do also have my own website! You
can already find at the following URL:
www.brickmaster.de .However, it just started
growing and there are no cool pictures yet. In
case I can realise my projects soon, it should
become a neat little website one day soon...
