Jack Lillie ("elsellel")
Favorite LEGO toys/themes: Technic, Racers, Star Wars, Castle
My fascination with LEGO began... with an early bulldozer expert builder set in I think, 1979. From that point on, it was non-stop. Somewhere in my late teens, life got in the way of hobbies and I entered a "dark ages" away from LEGO. Within the last couple of years, I've picked up the hobby (and collecting) bug all over again... and it's GOOD to be back.
I once built... a Chassis Car so many times over, that the LEGO pieces literally were having a difficult time sticking to each other.
Someday I will build... the 8880 Super Car I have in my collection. It's my most valuable unopened set, but I have a feeling someday I will open it up and build it (hoping I can find a used one before that day arrives).
LEGO is great because... they never grow old, even as you grow older.
LEGO fans are great because... they share a common interest, are by and large very friendly people, and seem to have a certain energy and vitality that others don't share.
My favorite Non-LEGO Toys: Puzzles, a few computer games, RC boats
My favorite Hobbies & Interests: LEGO LEGO LEGO... and other puzzles and games
My favorite Foods: Pizza, Chinese, Mexican
My favorite Movies & TV: Robocop
My favorite Artists: Jan van Eyck
My favorite Music: Guitar and instrumental oriented
My favorite Pets & Animals: Cats and dogs
Words which best describe me: a person hoping and working toward a unified and peaceful world
I love it when... politicians (and big money folk) suffer no accountability from their actions; no matter how bad their actions are.
I hate it when... politicians (and big money folk) suffer no accountability from their actions; no matter how bad their actions are.
I can't seem to get enough... work or gainful employment.
I always seem to have enough... ambition to acquire work and gainful employment!
I hope I always... have at least one hobby or "love to do".
I wish I could... live on a planet where the inhabitants realized that money isn't necessary to make societies prosper and flourish.
I could never... work in an industry that's deemed parasitic or detrimental to humanity; there are so many.
I hope I never... work in an industry that's deemed parasitic or detrimental to humanity.
I wish I hadn't... made some of the career choices I made before 2000.
In my craziest moments... I picture myself out in nature living off the land. If only this were truly possible and supportable.
Believe it or not... I was away from LEGO for 15 years!!!
If I were super-human... how "super" are we talking about? It would take a monumentally super-human to really precipitate a paradigm shift in humanity's current level of, 12-year-old mentality.
More & Less: - more understanding, less prejudice
- more peace, less war
- more eductation, less lack of education
Rules I try to live by: - be kind
- be compassionate
- be fair
Additional comments:
Love each other. And do the right thing even when it may be hard to do so.
