Favorite LEGO toys/themes: My two favorite themes were always castle and space, although
pirate came in a close third (especially when they introduced the
island people). Castle Legos were my obsession, though! Now, I
tend to buy sets that offer new, unique pieces that I can add to
my creative projects
My fascination with LEGO began... I believe I got my first lego toy when I was 4 or 5. It was a
Duplo train set that I kept for quite awhile. Eventually I began
collecting castle Legos and expanded to space and finally
pirate. I am proud to say that I never lost a single piece to any
of my sets.
I once built... A portrait of my wife and I for her birthday. I used green base
plates for the background, and flat plates of various sizes for the
portraits. I limited my pallette to yellow, orange, red, and blue,
which gave it a sort of infrared look. It's currently hanging in our
dining room.
Someday I will build... Something beautiful.
LEGO is great because... Nothing grabbed my attention like Lego when I was young. I
would spend hours building, tearing apart, and modifying my
lego sets. If there was something I wanted to make, I knew I
could do it as long as I had enough pieces. I still remember
building a giant poseable dragon because Lego had not yet
started making the dragon mini figures.
LEGO fans are great because... We're creative, and we love to play and solve problems; maybe if
more people had these traits, we wouldn't be facing so many huge
issues in the world...

My favorite Music: I'm in a metal band in Central Arkansas: Cavort Usurp
My favorite Pets & Animals: 2 dogs and a cat
I love it when... my students succeed; people congratulate me after a performance;
my wife strokes my hair
I hate it when... people give up or refuse to understand each other; it snows and
rains at the same time
I can't seem to get enough... time, love, beauty
I always seem to have enough... things to do
I hope I always... am excited by new experiences; am humbled by human decency;
am surrounded by love
I wish I could... travel more
I could never... intentionally hurt anyone
I hope I never... lose my sense of wonder or my imagination; take the people in my
life for granted
Believe it or not... I've been in a shipwreck and seen more of the third world than
most people want to.
If I were super-human... wait... you're saying I'm not already? Damn... wasted all that money
on scientology, and what do i have to show for it?!
