Chris Ayers ("Torgo")
Favorite LEGO toys/themes: When I was a kid it was classic space. In high-school I was a
castle nut. In college I was into aquazone and technic. A few
years ago I went crazy for the Star Wars sets. My current
obsession is with trains and with re-discovering the old sets
from my youth.
My fascination with LEGO began... When I was about three and my Mom was amazed that I could put
together my first LEGO set (a police car).
I once built... The Galaxy Explorer! Of course, we ALL built that, didn't we? Still,
It's the set I remember enjoying the most as a kid.
Someday I will build... A scale model of the Space Needle, and a 1994 Geo Metro.
LEGO is great because... It's a wonderful way to de-stress. Often, after I survive another
hectic period at work, I'll get myself a new LEGO set. I'll sit down
with it and forget about the rest of the world as I become
engrossed in the activity of building my new LEGO model.
There's something very Zen about it.
LEGO fans are great because... We are not afraid to show the world that LEGO is not just for kids.
We are the type of people who understand how important it is to
have a healthy amount of fun in your daily life.
My favorite Non-LEGO Toys: Transformers
My favorite Hobbies & Interests: Classic videogames of the 70's & 80's, Classic Volkswagens
My favorite Foods: Anything spicy! Thai, Korean and Mexican.
My favorite Movies & TV: Star Wars, Star Trek, Mystery Science Theater 3000
My favorite Artists: Tim Wistrom
My favorite Music: 80's alternative
My favorite Pets & Animals: I love cats, but dogs are a close second.
Words which best describe me: Offbeat, cerebral, kind.
I love it when... I make someone laugh.
I hate it when... my life becomes too stressful and hectic to work in any fun time.
I can't seem to get enough... time for personal interests.
I always seem to have enough... to-do items on my chore list.
I hope I always... keep my sense of humor.
I wish I could... retire and spend all day with my son.
I could never... put my own needs ahead of those of my family.
I hope I never... become senile.
I wish I hadn't... let my parents leave most of my LEGO bricks in a bucket in the
shed where they could get all dirty and wet and warped and broken.
In my craziest moments... I annoy the heck out of those around me.
Believe it or not... I'm walkin' on air. I never thought I could feel so free. Flyin' away on
a wing and a prayer -- who could it be? Believe it or not, it's just
me.
If I were super-human... I would definitely not have the answer to the last question as my
theme song.
More & Less: - more Smiles, less Frowns
- more Sharing, less Greed
- more Responsibility, less Waste
Rules I try to live by: - If you argue for your limitations, then congratulations - they're yours to keep.
- People can't argue with you if you agree with them.
- You can't manage what you don't measure.
