Favorite LEGO toys/themes: Town, this was the only Lego system when I started playing at age 7 in 1960.
My fascination with LEGO began... 1960, the year that my uncle in Germany sent me my first Lego set (#700/1), a full year before Lego first came to the USA.
I once built... A 20,000 piece Gothic Cathedral (1996-99), which is still intact. Maybe Todd will want to include it in his picture book of AFOL creations.
Someday I will build... The Louvre Palace/Museum in Paris
LEGO is great because... it is soooo versatile.
LEGO fans are great because... they always seem to be very intelligent. Perhaps years of playing with Lego has increased the IQ of young and old Lego fans.
My favorite Non-LEGO Toys: None.
My favorite Hobbies & Interests: Coin collecting, chinese porcelain.
My favorite Foods: Pizza and chinese.
My favorite Movies & TV: 30's & 40's movies, history, Sci-fi, HGTV channels
My favorite Artists: Duerer, Rembrandt, Renoir.
My favorite Music: Easy listening, new age, classic
My favorite Pets & Animals: Dogs
Words which best describe me: Legomaniac
More & Less: - more Lego window styles & availability, less Of those green shutters for the 1x4x3 window.
- more More Lego, less Less Costly
- more More good Lego Architecture, less Less bad real life Architecture
Rules I try to live by: - Never take yourself too seriously.
- Barkers Law: Murphy was an optimist.
- Let the builder beware.
Additional comments:
I am almost always in an optomistic mood. And here is why: "Always being an optimist will not always make you happy, but it will piss off enough people to make it worth your while".
