Greg Perry ("SuperNerd23")
Favorite LEGO toys/themes: Adventurers, Ninja, Fright Knights & Time Twisters (in defiance of
majority opinion)
My fascination with LEGO began... Pre-Dark Ages: As a child who always enjoyed building with
blocks, bricks and logs.
I once built... A replication of M.C. Escher's "Relativity" - his picture showing
muliple staircases and perspectives intertwined at different angles
to each other.
Someday I will build... a house with at least one room solely devoted to LEGO.
LEGO is great because... it constantly fuels my imagination.
LEGO fans are great because... are incredibly & diversely creative.
My favorite Non-LEGO Toys: books, TV, VCR, Video Camera, Station Wagon, Computer
My favorite Hobbies & Interests: stop-motion animation, attending/taping concerts, karate, 'zine publishing, reality manipulation
My favorite Foods: Mexican & Asian
My favorite Movies & TV: David Lynch, Tom Fontana & Barry Levinson, Coen Brothers, Simpsons, British Comedies
My favorite Artists: Escher, Wally Woods, Charles Burns, R. Crumb,
My favorite Music: Psychedelia, Bluegrass, Stoner Rock, Surf Music
Words which best describe me: slack, green, obtuse, hairy, elongated, nerd
I love it when... I stumble across some discontinued set on the dusty shelves of
some out-the-way K-mart.
I hate it when... I miss those great clearance sales at Target that everyone else
makes it to.
I can't seem to get enough... TIME.
I always seem to have enough... things happening to eat up my TIME.
I hope I always... expand.
I wish I could... make my living by playing with LEGO and watching TV all day.
I could never... not know nothing.
I hope I never... lose an organ or limb.
I wish I hadn't... gotten rid of those childhood LEGO's, G.I. Joe's, Lincoln Logs and
comic books.
In my craziest moments... I'm perfectly sane.
Believe it or not... belief is the death of intelligence.
If I were super-human... I'd leave this planet and explore others.
More & Less: - more Imperial Soldiers, less Timmy and Smiley Faces
- more 2x6, less 1x4
- more Trees, less BURPs
Rules I try to live by: - I'd rather pull the wool over my own eyes
- The map is not the territory
- Screw 'em if they can't take a joke
