Leo Vermeulen
("Legomaat")

Favorite LEGO toys/themes: Bricks, bricks, and more bricks.

My fascination with LEGO began... at the age of about 7, LEGO was something new in Holland those days.

I once built... A kiosk in "Berlage"(a well known Dutch architect) -style on a scale 1:25. Since then, I have never changed this scale again.

Someday I will build... A 1to25 scaled classical American skyscraper that really scrapes the sky.

LEGO is great because... It is simple, yet so versatile. And I just love it in the way is is.

LEGO fans are great because... They spontaneously talk to each other, showing respect for each person's individuality.

My favorite Non-LEGO Toys: My computer

My favorite Hobbies & Interests: Building history, sailing, cabinet-making

My favorite Foods: Chinese

My favorite Movies & TV: All kinds of SF-stories, documentaries, animations.

My favorite Artists: Esher

My favorite Music: Good music.

My favorite Pets & Animals: I like especially those from the poulterer.

Words which best describe me: Patience. persevering.

I love it when... I have enough bricks for my building projects

I hate it when... I don't have enough, and LEGO don't have them anymore in their assortment.

I can't seem to get enough... Spare time

I always seem to have enough... Other things to care of.

I hope I always... Have enough room for my LEGO

I wish I could... build my own Legoland

I could never... sell my LEGO

I hope I never... Have to sell my LEGO

I wish I hadn't... Sold my childhood sets.

In my craziest moments... I think the whole world is one big Legoland; no war and no misery

Believe it or not... A have not enough bricks to make my own Legoland.

If I were super-human... I would give every human being a pile of LEGO. Maybe then, world wide peace will come true.

More & Less:
  • more perspective, less impatiece
  • more beauty, less ugliness
  • more gratitude, less blame

Rules I try to live by:
  1. Be patiece.
  2. Good things come to those who wait.
  3. Do unto others as you would have others do unto you
