Favorite LEGO toys/themes: Atlantis, Castle/Kingdom, Designer's Sets, Harry Potter, Indiana Jones, LEGO Games, LEGO Studios Scary Monsters, Minifigures, Ninjago, Orient Expedition, Pharaoh's Quest, Vikings
My fascination with LEGO began... at age 5, when I received my first set of bricks.
I once built... one of the GURPS Fourth Edition sample characters, the warbot C31R07 (and I won a copy of the Basic Set for doing so).
Someday I will build... a 25mm scale D&D tarrasque; the train from the Iron Dragon rail game's box cover; a model that gets enough support on LEGO CUUSOO to be chosen as an official LEGO set.
LEGO is great because... it appeals to all ages, and encourages creativity.
LEGO fans are great because... they refuse to put an age cap on a fun, imaginative toy.
My favorite Hobbies & Interests: drawing, doll-making, F&SF, history, movies, mythology, role-playing games
My favorite Movies & TV: Doctor Who, Star Wars, Star Trek, Indiana Jones, Harry Potter, Muppets, Narnia, Lord of the Rings
My favorite Artists: Van Gogh, Escher, Leonardo da Vinci, Wayne Reynolds, Toren Atkinson
My favorite Music: Queen, Weird Al Yankovic, TMBG, The Darkest of the Hillside Thickets
I can't seem to get enough... LEGO, time, money.
I wish I could... work as a designer or builder for the LEGO Group.
Additional comments:
For the past several years, I have been using LEGO bricks to build tabletop miniatures for role-playing games that I Game Master. See the "Smiling in the Face of Danger" link under Personal Sites for my article on how to get started using LEGO minis in RPGs, and "My Brickshelf gallery" for numerous examples.
As of 2011, I am working as a Brick Specialist at my local LEGO Store.
