Favorite LEGO toys/themes: Star Wars, Model Team, Sculptures
My fascination with LEGO began... I think it was back when I was in Elementary school. I don't remember exactly what got me into Legos. I remember a large basic set with all sorts of parts that my parents got me for my birthday. What I don't remember is whether I had bought a few smaller sets first or whether that lasrge set was the starting point.
I once built... Star Blazers ships. Back when I was young I watched Star Blazers all the time and made many of those ships. I have built few original models in recent years. Built a simple 3 foot high giraffe. Somewhere on my home page is a set of photos with the giraffe and my son. In one of the photos we learned that while one can hug a lego giraffe, one should not lean on it. . .
Someday I will build... Built a chicken from pictures at a Lego exhibition. Built an egg and after parts arrive will work on a nest and chicks. . .
LEGO is great because... They are just fantastic. If someone told me that for my kids I could only pick one toy for them to play with. . .ever. Easy choice. . .Lego.
To be honest I have my pet peeve with them: 1) Lack of Mac versions of their software (Not just a Lego problem) 2) More recent tendency to provide sets with fewer smaller pieces and more larger chunks (what is with that Jack Stone stuff?) However, even taking into account those minor complaints I would still pick Lego.
LEGO fans are great because... uh. . .they like Legos. . .

I love it when... I can build Legos. . .

I can't seem to get enough... Legos Taiko Sushi
I hope I always... Like Legos. . .Am able to play Taiko
