My fascination with LEGO began... When I received Beta-1 Command Base for Christmas in 1980.
I once built... (way back when) a camouflaged vehicle by wrapping bricks with masking tape and then shading them with colored pencils. What a pain to disassemble that was... :)
Someday I will build... large castle complexes again (it has been many years). I believe I need to restock my castle component inventory from brickbay or some other source...
LEGO is great because... of the elements' consistently perfect proportions.
My favorite Non-LEGO Toys: Mostly videogames, and most of those are on Nintendo platforms...
My favorite Hobbies & Interests: Programming, Lego, videogames, poster collecting, thunderstorms...
My favorite Movies & TV: (movies) The Empire Strikes Back, Vertigo, Godfather I&II
My favorite Music: Dire Straits; Beautiful South; Josh Joplin Group
I can't seem to get enough... 1x[anylength] plates in whatever colors I'm building with. I seem to always run short of these.
I always seem to have enough... 2x4 bricks. A couple of filler packs will quickly do that.
More & Less:
- more UCS Classic Star Wars, less Episode 1 Star Wars sets
- more Of the basics (as they were in early 80s) :), less Specialized pieces and new element colors
