Favorite LEGO toys/themes: Pirates and 9v Trains
My fascination with LEGO began... When at the age of 9, I met someone aged 8 with a whole trunk full of lego, and I only had a biscuit tin of "Better Builder". When I was 10 I found a large box filled with Lego on a beach bonfire (5 hours before it was lit). Then when I was 31 and a father of 2 children aged 2 and 3, I started to buy them Duplo, and then Lego, and more Lego, and even more Lego, and so on.
Now I buy it for myself as they are now teenage girls, who don't share the same passion for Lego as I do.
I once built... A Imperial Fortress on a cliff, the model was 2foot (60 cm) by 2foot and aprox 18inches (45cm) high.
Someday I will build... 2 model railway layouts in my loft (attic), one with a western theme, and one with a modern theme.
LEGO is great because... Compared to other toys for price I think it is quite good value, especially as it has so much playability and versatillity, also I used to be an Engineer so I appreciate the quality of the product.
LEGO fans are great because... We need to get a life.
My favorite Non-LEGO Toys: 1/64th slot cars,( AFX, Tyco, Tomy, Life like, Rasant).
My favorite Hobbies & Interests: Model making (scratch built), Cosmology and Motor cycles (fast ones).
My favorite Foods: Home cooking, Chinese take away.
My favorite Movies & TV: Alien, Starwars, Star Treck, Babylon 5 and factual documentries.
My favorite Artists: Borris
My favorite Music: Deff Leopard, Black Sabath, Queensryche, Metallica,
My favorite Pets & Animals: I have a Brindle Stafordshire bull terrier bitch, and a tabby and white she cat .
Words which best describe me: Dangerous to myself, Kind but a bit selfish and still a child of 13.
I love it when... My teenage children tell ME to turn the HiFi down.
Or, when I have more than enough money to out bid everyone at an auction.
I hate it when... I dont have enough money to bid at an auction, and the item I want goes cheap, or I miss an auction and the item I wanted went cheap.
I can't seem to get enough... Toys, or money to buy them.
I always seem to have enough... Work.
I hope I always... Have enough money to buy Lego.
I wish I could... Become a Millionare and buy and play with lego all day and almost every day.
I could never... Stop buying toys
I hope I never... Stop buying toys
I wish I hadn't... Got so much DIY to do to my house.
In my craziest moments... I wish I could tell you.
Believe it or not... Deffinately couldn't tell you.
If I were super-human... What do you mean "IF". (I have a sence of humor too)
More & Less:
- more Peace., less Warmongering religious fanatics contredicting their holy books.
- more Harsher punishments for criminals, especially child mollesters and wife beaters., less Animal sports or so called sports.
- more Help and aid for true victims of crime., less Whaleing, especially in the name of science.
Rules I try to live by:
- Live fast, because life is short and enjoy life, but not at the expense of others.
- Do unto others as they would do unto you, an eye for an eye.
- Don't expect others to do what you wouldnt do yourself.
Additional comments:
Dont get me wrong with some of my comments, I am a very peacefull man, who likes the quiet life, but then again, if I am crossed!!!
Also I do have some live life fast and dangerouse moments, but thats another story for adults only.
