Favorite LEGO toys/themes: Town, Trains, Technic, Mindstorms
My fascination with LEGO began... My Aunt Louise bought my brother and I a decent size Lego set in a red plastic Samsonite suitcase one Christmas. I was maybe 6.
I once built... A Lego castle for a 7th grade social studies project. The teacher was unimpressed, but I liked it.
Someday I will build... A whole town with trains in its own room.
LEGO is great because... You can't break it, it doesn't take long to realize and idea, and it's fun working with and against the constraints.
My favorite Non-LEGO Toys: There are non-Lego toys?
My favorite Hobbies & Interests: Windsurfing, writing, my kid
My favorite Foods: Coffee
My favorite Movies & TV: Bull Durham, Year of Living Dangerously, Princess Bride, West Wing, Once & Again
My favorite Music: Springsteen, Shawn Colvin, REM, Rostropovich, Van Morrison, Southside Johnny
Words which best describe me: quiet, thoughtful, deliberate
I love it when... 1) Something I made works and someone uses it. 2) My wife and kid smile. 3) I'm sailing and the whole world is in balance and sparkling.
I hate it when... I have to ask people to do stuff they don't want to do.
I can't seem to get enough... time
I always seem to have enough... work
I hope I always... don't sweat the details
I wish I could... move to Kauai
I could never... be a telemarketer
I wish I hadn't... paid $50 for Robosports
Believe it or not... I once was a lawyer. I got better, though.
If I were super-human... I'd be 28 forever.
More & Less: - more Harmony, less Noise
- more Entropy, less Authority
- more Cheddar, less Swiss
Rules I try to live by: - Find and enjoy your perfect moments.
- No one ever said "I wish I spent more time at work" on their deathbed.
- Few things are so big and so bad that you can't run away from them.
