Martin Bruun
("Citembe")

Favorite LEGO toys/themes: Technic, I have about 35-40 sets of that theme. My alltime favourite set is the 856 Bulldozer. Star Wars are pretty cool too!

My fascination with LEGO began... A highlight was christmas 1980, where i got the 851 farm tractor. Three weeks later i bought the 856 Bulldozer and then i was captured! The fascination faded in my teenage-years, but at the age of 21 i bought the 8094 Control Center at a sale. That was turning point for me, and in the following years i built at lot of primitive robots and walkers. Since then my fascination has just been growing.

I once built... a very cool three feet long 50-legged walker

Someday I will build... I am thinking of taking up sculpture building. I would love to built a large-scale model of a ferrie, complete with minifigs as passengers.

LEGO is great because... You keep getting amazed what is possible with lego

LEGO fans are great because... They have realized that adultness are only a physical stage. We are all children inside.

My favorite Non-LEGO Toys: Plastic model kits of race-cars, you paint and glue together

My favorite Movies & TV: Comedys

My favorite Artists: My favourite actor is Peter Sellers as inspector Clouseau in the Pink Panther movies

My favorite Music: pop/rock

Words which best describe me: Serious, friendly

I love it when... pepole share a common interest and share their knowledge and experiences. The internet is good for that.

I hate it when... people rush and make a bad job, instead of taking the time and do their best. And that applies to about anything people do.

I can't seem to get enough... Technic Pneumatic cylinders

I always seem to have enough... Angled Technic liftarms

I wish I could... go back in time and buy all the sets i dreamed of when i was a kid.

I hope I never... will quit playing with lego.

Believe it or not... The new Legoland park in Germany is not the first. In the early seventies me and my family visited a Lego-park in Germany, which were closed shortly after. Because of my age at that time (2 or 3 years old) i can't remember a thing, but my parents have footage of the visit. Perhaps it was not an official Lego Company - park. I can't find any information about it.

If I were super-human... I would make sure that Santa Claus did his shopping in Legoland

More & Less:
  • more enthusiasm, less fanatism

Rules I try to live by:
  1. Keep your promises
  2. Treat people the way, you would like them to treat you
  3. Be open-minded
