Gail Meagher
Favorite LEGO toys/themes: 9V trains, pirates, homemaker, MOC, and everything
else for parts.
My fascination with LEGO began... when, on a family trip to Ireland in 1976, I
discovered a LEGO store in Limerick with a
larger than life Snow White plus a few dwarfs in
the window.
I once built... a four foot tall Christmas tree using over 7000
pieces.
Someday I will build... the front half of the partially completed (for n
years) ~mf scale (3 studs : 1 m) bluenose
sitting on my shelf. The Bluenose is the tall
ship pictured on the back of Canadian dimes.
LEGO is great because... of the unlimited possibilities.
LEGO fans are great because... there is always someone who has a bigger
collection, spends more money, or has more
copies of a particular set. This is very useful
information when caught sneaking large amounts
of LEGO into the house.
My favorite Non-LEGO Toys: stuffed critters, especially mooses.
My favorite Hobbies & Interests: skiing, sailing, growing rhododendrons, SF, physics, gaming, photography, Habs fan.
My favorite Foods: dark chocolate, cheese, chickenburgers.
My favorite Movies & TV: Horror, crime.
My favorite Pets & Animals: cats (unfortunately I'm allergic), penguins.
Words which best describe me: canary, curious, off the bell.
I love it when... the wind is just right to sail straight out
towards the mouth of Halifax harbour, until the
only boats around are the tugs and huge ships.
I hate it when... neighbours spray their lawns with pesticides.
I can't seem to get enough... space to build and display my LEGO creations.
I always seem to have enough... dust bunnies.
I hope I always... can find something funny in even the worst
situations.
I wish I could... snap my fingers and magically have all my LEGO
sorted.
I could never... work at a job I didn't enjoy.
I hope I never... become allergic/sensitive to ABS.
I wish I hadn't... wasted money on frivolous things like food that
could have been spent on LEGO.
In my craziest moments... I dig out a colouring book and crayons.
Believe it or not... I flew an experiment on NASA's vomit comet (micro-
gravity plane that does parabolas over the gulf of
Mexico).
More & Less: - more organic farming, less pesticides and unnecessary chemicals
- more intelligent, responsible people, less twits
- more flowers, less air pollution
Rules I try to live by: - Give and/or receive at least three hugs a day.
- Accomplish at least one positive thing a day.
- When you can't breathe, nothing else matters.
