Bryan Hodges ("Hobartrus")
Favorite LEGO toys/themes: Star Wars, Space, and Castle
My fascination with LEGO began... when I was very young I was obsessed with the Space theme, later I was into Castle, and I came out of my dark ages just in time for Star Wars.
I once built... a moonbase colony, complete with a statue of a "moon man" which had a "secret" hatch on the back of his head.
Someday I will build... a minifig scale town with a very large skyscraper
LEGO is great because... it is limited only by your imagination. Lego brings out hidden talents and skills.
LEGO fans are great because... they show what is possible with Legos. They continuously build new and exciting models, and provide many "sparks" for one's own imagination.
My favorite Non-LEGO Toys: Star Wars Micromachines
My favorite Hobbies & Interests: Star Wars, MP3 technology, Electronics, Computer Science
My favorite Foods: Steak, Pizza, anything bad for you... ;)
My favorite Movies & TV: Star Wars films, Star Trek, Buckaroo Banzai, Office Space, Kevin Smith films, etc.
My favorite Artists: God, George Lucas, Dali, Van Gogh
My favorite Music: 80s, Jazz + Swing, TMBG, SNZ
My favorite Pets & Animals: my pet Peeve (my dog)
Words which best describe me: comedic, creative, intellegent, and humble (sic)
I love it when... I come home from a hard days work to my dog who is so unbearably excited to see me that he can't contain himself.
I hate it when... I have to pay bills.
I can't seem to get enough... hands.
I always seem to have enough... soap.
I hope I always... have my dog with me.
I wish I could... leave this rock.
I could never... consume sour cream.
I hope I never... go into another Lego Dark Age.
I wish I hadn't... been so introverted in high school.
In my craziest moments... I realize I forgot to take my pills.
Believe it or not... I don't have a gall bladder. It had rocks in it, so we took it out.
If I were super-human... I'd have giant chickens instead of hands.
More & Less: - more funding for space exploration, less governmental programs and political crap
- more intelligence, less stupidity
- more physical technology (like flying cars), less virtualworldy, cyberspacey, information technology
Rules I try to live by: - Don't be vain
- Be good to others
- Improve yourself daily
Additional comments:
Lego brings out the best in me. I can create things that seem amazing one day and dull the next, but I can always disassemble the dull stuff. I can work on a project for several days just to realize it's no good and it does not upset me. With any other creative medium these things would not be possible.
