Three rivals, the 3rd Millennium, the United Suns Alliance, and the Blacktron Empire, battle for galactic supremacy at this futuristic site.
Many of the models are pure LEGO®, but Paulo has also developed a unique means
of artistic expression through mixed media: the use of carefully cut and
painted cardstock paper to create designs either impossible or impractical
through LEGO elements alone.
Dozens of data sheets, each showing several views of a model and providing
tactical and historical details, cover bombers, fighters, dropships, tanks,
and mecha, and more. Several pages of galactic history also add to the mood.
The photography, bold and crisp, is computer-enhanced with effects like
lasers, light halos, and engine glow.
The pages can be difficult to navigate at points, but if you want to get a
quick sense for the site before systematically going through all the pages,
there are a couple of a very nice Mixed Images pages which offer a quick
taste. Also, if you want to see mainly models made only from pure LEGO,
start at the Blacktron Empire pages.
