The Blank Shields - Mercenary HeadQuarters

An old officer’s saying: “Short their pay, and the men will only curse you, but short their food, and the men will leave.“

The Captain is well aware that hungry mercenaries are not happy mercenaries, so the messhall is large and the rations are plentiful.

Also, given the nature of off-duty mercenaries, and what tends to happen when they mix with strong drink, all weapons are left at the door.
