Battle 1 : Crab vs. Scorpion vs. Shadowlands
This battle is a small skirmish around a hut between samurai of the Crab Clan and the Scorpion Clan. The Scorpion troops are aided by their Ninja allies. But suddenly Shadowlands forces start attacking both sides. The Ninja, some monks and a ronin counterattack.
Crab vs. Scorpion
In front of the hut, the Scorpion troops have surrounded the Crab samurai.
| | One of the Crab is fighting with a die tsuchi, which is a big two-handed warhammer.

The leader of these three Crab warriors is clearly having fun, taking one two opponents at the same time! Notice that Crab samurai don’t take much care of their appearance, because they consider that not necessary when protecting the Empire. That’s why this samurai has such an unshaven look.
| | The third Crab is valiantly fighting his opponent, but doesn’t notice the Ninja hidden in the hut, who is ready to ambush him.

Reinforcements and a New Opponent
The Crab receive reinforcements quickly. A Crab Samurai in heavy armour is ready to face his Scorpion counterpart, while a battle maiden armed with a naginata charges forward. The Hiruma archer isn’t too happy about the situation, but the ronin that decided to help them is clearly going to enjoy himself.
| | Suddenly, one of the Crab samurai is attacked by a skeleton and a zombie. Shadowlands troops were not supposed to be roaming around here. The zombie is wearing Scorpion clothes which can only mean that the Scorpion were ambushed themselves by Shadowlands forces!

| | The Scorpion samurai notice it too and one of them is having to fight a heavily armoured skeleton.

| | 
| | But the Ninjas quickly break their cover and start attacking the Shadowlands troops. Fighting the Crab is one thing, but the Shadowlands are always more dangerous. One Ninja even charges forward waving two swords to help a Crab in need.

| | Another Ninja starts sneaking up to the skeleton archer on top of the rock.

The Battle behind the Hut
| | Behind the hut, the Scorpion samurai, together with 2 monks, start fighting the other Shadowlands forces.
|
| | 
| | While the older monk tackles a heavily armoured skeleton, the young monk prepares to receive the charge of the zombie.
|
| | 
| | Not many people are able to face such a fearsome foe!
|
| | 
| | There’s even a duel between naginata wielding warriors...
|
| | 
| | One Scorpion, just risen from the dead after having been killed by the Shadowlands troops, is suddenly charged by a mounted ronin.
|
| | 
| | It’s Dairya, the one-eyed ronin, one of the most dangerous warriors one can ever encounter. The Shadowlands troops will definitely be crushed with such a powerful ally!
