Medieval Houses
This is a series of houses I built to the Classic Castle City standard.
None of the houses have finished interiors, as they were intended to work as part of a layout rather than as playsets (plus building interiors eats up a lot of bricks).
| | First, a black-and-white half-timbered house. Like the next two houses, this one was built from the roof down. The roof is made of two hinged panels which rest against the black 75° slopes. The other highlight of this house is the 1/2 stud projecting windowsills.
The door does open, and is built of plates and tiles attached to a 1x4 antenna.

| | This house is another one that was built around the roof. 118 of these bricks make up the roof, topped by 6 of these. I think they produce a nice tiled effect.
The windows are 2x4x3 frames with brown lattice panes fit into the back.

| | From the first time I saw the skate ramp pieces, I wanted to build a roof with them. The skate ramp pieces are attached to the walls with Technic half-pins, and also joined together with them.
Also in this house is a window made from a wheel encased in two arches, one of them upside-down.
