Cicada

   If you were anywhere from the Mid-Atlantic west to Tennessee and Indiana in 2004 (or 1987), you probably heard about the Brood X 17-year cicada. This is my attempt to render the infamous insect in LEGO form.

   Construction highlights include the use of black minifig arms for the legs of the cicada. For a really true-to-life cicada, I would have liked to use clear 2x3 and 2x4 plates for the wings, but I don’t have any at the moment.
