Battle Monument
The cornerstone for the Battle Monument was laid in 1815
   This is my entry for Week 3 of the LEGO Factory contest - built in LEGO Digital Designer 1.3.

The subject is the Battle Monument in downtown Baltimore, which commemorates the 1814 Battle of Baltimore.

   It was completed in 1825
 
In 1827, John Quincy Adams called Baltimore “The Monumental City”
   I had to get out the actual plastic bricks to figure out the various offsets in this one. Other highlights include the new 1x1x2/3 slopes, used here to simulate the eagles on the corners of the monument, and the MTA bus headed up Calvert Street.

As with my USS Constellation, this model does not contain any of the changed colors.
