Hi All,
Time for another LMC update! Well it's the end of the month and I'm NOT done...
could have seen that coming! I was in Taiwan for 2 weeks and then I had over 100
orders of altBricks Leaves to run to the post office over the next two weeks!
Any way I finally painted (with a roller) the LMC. First coat was a primer;
white. Had to do all the walls and ceiling. Also special cement sealer on the
exposed foundation. Originally I wasn't thinking that I'd do more than that.
But with the orange peal texture it started looking less like a garage
conversion and more like interior living space. So I bought the same color
paint that's in the rest of the house and painted walls only with that. Of
course I had to "cut in" the ceiling, PITA. Since there is nothing on the floor
I could make a mess there! And I did a bit. Roller marks every where on the
floor along the walls.
I also decided to install finish molding that matches the rest of the house. So
I picked that up tonight. It's pre-primered, so now the last 10% of painting
left to do. I also bought matching trim paint tonight and I'll paint it all
before installing. It's seems easier to touch up nail heads then taping the
hole length of the trim.

| (...) Steve- I'm very curious about what sort of carpeting you will choose. I have carpeted two different Lego rooms at my house. I tend to prefer building on the floor, so I laid down commercial carpet (with a very low loop mat, like you might find (...) (12 years ago, 2-May-12, to lugnet.trains)
