  Re: Manhattan Bridge

(...) Thanks. Yeah, not sure what happened with the initial upload to MOCpages, but I reloaded and it seems to have accepted it now. I built this for an art show at my day job's offices in which employees were invited to participate. It was a fun (...) (13 years ago, 31-Oct-11, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Manhattan Bridge

(...) Wow. I saw this on MOCpages but at the time there were no images (server drive failure?) So what's the story behind your building it? Nice two wide hook and ladder :) (13 years ago, 28-Oct-11, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Manhattan Bridge

(...) I just found that on my 'recent updates' page. Very nice! JohnG, GMLTC (13 years ago, 28-Oct-11, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Recreating old sets

(...) Lasse Vestergård from Byggepladen collects sets older than himself, and as far as I know, he considers it okay to acquire a set piece by piece. Play well, Jacob (13 years ago, 12-Oct-11, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.trains, lugnet.town)

  Recreating old sets

Hi all It is funny to think, that as a child there were only a few sets I did not get in certain series which I collected. Now, here they (almost) are: (URL) choose to collect the parts from BL and build the sets rather than buy them ready. It is (...)   Re: Half-SNOT town street

(...) I like how it looks. From your pictures, it's not clear to me if and how you've attached the snot side and middle stripe to the rest of the structure. Could you please explane a bit more about this? With friendly greetings, Manfred (13 years ago, 11-Sep-11, to lugnet.town)

  Re: The Cube

(...) Definitely a house I would like to take a close look at someday. Play well, Jacob (13 years ago, 9-Sep-11, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Spiral staircase

(...) That is really cool. Good use of wedging the plates between the studs for railing & 'wrapping' the 2x3 plates around the central pole. Jeff (13 years ago, 9-Sep-11, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build)

  Re: The Cube

(...) Pure fantasy. The crazy architect is me. ;-) I didn't think of the problem with snow (and rain for that matter) on the roof. Maybe I should have built it tilted on the outside. In a way it is a second edition of "Square Ghost Café" ((URL)). If (...) (13 years ago, 8-Sep-11, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Half-SNOT town street

(...) I got a small portion in one of my LUGBULK orders. I think I have enough for the equivalent of five ordinary straight roadplates. Play well, Jacob (13 years ago, 8-Sep-11, to lugnet.town)

(...) looks like it could have been built in the real world (by a crazy architect). But I wouldn't want it here in Sweden with a lot of snow on top :-) (13 years ago, 7-Sep-11, to lugnet.town)

  Half-SNOT town street

This is one of my attempts at reducing the cost of creating "studs-not-on-top" (SNOT) roads for LEGO towns, while keeping the flexibility the SNOT technique gives us: (URL) presented version has the road surface two bricks and a baseplate above (...)   Spiral staircase

(URL) spiral staircase was built as the outside stairs up to the apartment above "Square Ghost Café". Play well, Jacob (posting his backlog of models) (13 years ago, 7-Sep-11, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.town, lugnet.build)
