Xandria Husby ("Xandria")
Favorite LEGO toys/themes: Castle (especially Fright Nights, Harry Potter and Orient Expedition)
Adventurers (Egyptian is current favorite)
Belville (completely poseable figures are fabulous)
My fascination with LEGO began... ... when I was about eight years old and for several years thereafter. My resurgence into collecting Lego did not begin until 1997, and it grows ever more passionate with each passing year.
I once built... ... many intriguing torturous devices, to which all Lego people cried out in horror (and many Gungans perished).
Someday I will build... ... the Malfoy Manor, multi levelled, complete with gardens, grounds etc.
LEGO is great because... ... it is the ultimate toy (game, puzzle, teacher and mental stimulator). It is also versatile and by far the most ingenious invention.
LEGO fans are great because... ... there is safety in numbers, are there not? Other people share the same insanity and passion, leading one to believe that one is completely rational in the quest for "more Lego, there always has to be more Lego".
My favorite Non-LEGO Toys: best not mentioned here
My favorite Hobbies & Interests: LEGO, Writing, History, Japanese culture, Anime, Harry Potter, and other things best not mentioned
My favorite Foods: Greek, Japanese
My favorite Movies & TV: science-fiction (Babylon 5, Star Wars, Star Trek), Anime (Hellsing)
My favorite Artists: best not mentioned here
My favorite Music: Gothic, Industrial, 80's
My favorite Pets & Animals: goldfish
Words which best describe me: organized, efficient, retentive (in some areas) and other words best not mentioned
I love it when... ... I receive Lego as gifts (never mind the flowers because Lego is forever) or Zellers has a terrific sale on Lego (and they have sets that I want)
I hate it when... ... Lego goes on sale when I have no money.
I can't seem to get enough... ... Lego (this was a rather rhetorical question, was it not?)
I always seem to have enough... ... Johnny Thunders and Harry Potters.
I hope I always... ... receive more Lego.
I wish I could... ... share the joys of Lego with more people.
I could never... ... have enough Lego.
I hope I never... ... arrived at some conclusion that I actually have enough Lego.
I wish I hadn't... ... stopped collecting Lego for as long as I did.
In my craziest moments... ... best not mentioned here.
Believe it or not... ... for five minutes I actually felt Lego'd out (it was Christmastime and I received numerous sets).
If I were super-human... ... I would construct a replicator which would create any Lego piece I required.
More & Less: - more purple colored pieces of Lego, less red colored pieces of Lego
- more old-style Lego sets with lots of individual pieces, less juniorized Lego sets
- more varieties of minifigs, less modified pieces (multi palms to uni palms)
Rules I try to live by: - Trust no one.
- To thine own self be true.
- Assume everyone else is an idiot.
