not afraid to wear Clikits in public. The Designer/Creator
sets
and 2005
Advent Calendar make me cry with joy!
My fascination with LEGO began... when I was little kid. The fascination didn't get really out-
of-
control until I saw my first Metroliner train set, at age 26.
I once built... this website! (I was not sane at the time.)
Someday I will build... a beautiful Victorian home at Belville-scale.
LEGO is great because... it's a powerful system disguised as a toy.
LEGO fans are great because... they're like family.
My favorite Non-LEGO Toys: wood blocks, leaf piles, Stikfas, Pinky figures (Japanese).
My favorite Hobbies & Interests: perennial gardening, B&W photography, building crossword puzzles, tangrams, paper engineering, studying urban planning, low-income housing architecture, bio-mechanics, instructional psychology, Macs, Japan, latte.
My favorite Foods: brunch, a spicy Cabernet, pizza, Guinness, Indian, Thai, Mexican.
My favorite Movies & TV: News from Japan (NHK), Venture Brothers, Blade Runner, Brazil, Pulp Fiction, TONS of animé.
My favorite Artists: Degas (esp. drawings), M. C. Escher, Egon Schiele, Tamara DeLempicka, Henri Cartier-Bresson (photographer), Gary Kelly (illustrator), David Macaulay, Ed Emberly, Range Murata.

My favorite Pets & Animals: Russian Blue cats, Nubian dairy goats, sloths, okapi.
Words which best describe me: playful, curious, passionate, honest, cynical, artistic, introverted, melancholy, late again.
I love it when... I find money in jeans that just went through the wash.
I can't seem to get enough... magazines!!! I have a newsstand in my house that's always
overflowing.
I always seem to have enough... brick separators.
I hope I always... have hope.
I wish I could... learn to spell propperly.
I could never... sell my LEGO collection.
I hope I never... forget my Dad's laugh.
I wish I hadn't... let our Pong game be sold in a yard sale.
In my craziest moments... I've motorcycled up to Louden, NH for the races.
Believe it or not... I raised and showed purebred dairy goats. Did 4-H. Tended
large
herds as a volunteer at Heifer Project International.
If I were super-human... I'd have the power of unlimited 'undo's. ...I think.
More & Less: - more thoughtful parents, less emotionally abused children
- more LEGO in schools, less standardized testing
- more patience, less ignorance
Rules I try to live by: - Practice compassion.
- Be truthful.
- Play whenever possible.
