Misérable

The Misérable is a 28 gun frigate based at Port Brique in the South Pacific.

The Misérable is constructed on a wide hull with six centre sections. The hull is widened by the use of a double row of inverse slopes.

Sails are based on LEGO designs, cut from stiffened calico, with appropriately scaled designs for the new sails needed (gallant, royal, spritsail, gaff, gaff topsail/skysail). The Misérable has a suit of twenty sails.

As well as the 28 guns on the gundeck, the Misérable boasts two 12 pounder bow chasers, eight 8 pounder deck guns and a pair of carronades.

The broadside of the Misérable is without equal in the waters of Port Brique. Combined with the impressive sail area, the sleek hull design and the highly skilled capitaine and crew, the Misérable is truly a vessel to be feared!

Accomodation is provided below decks for the 70+ crew and marines. The captains cabin is luxurious, but the crew who sleep on the gundeck - or below - don’t get such a good deal.

The Misérable carries three boats and a cutter, which can be outfitted as a gunboat if required.

The Misérable: Fast, fearsome and French! Vive la Republique!
