Enemies of Port Brique

The South Pacifique in the early 19th century is not an entirely peaceful place. Despite the Capitaine Legaeux’s French Squadron and the Grande Armee, piracy abounds, and the actions of the other great powers of the area aren’t always all that good, either.

The Bad Guys

For some reason, some of the major enemies of Port Brique gathered for a group photo.
In the back row: Norm the Slob and Enjolras the revolutionarie.
In the centre row: Sir Cecil Greenpeakes the wealthy Brikkish industrialist, Capitaine Cor-de-Flash (Flash by name, flash by nature) and the Dread Pirate Robespierre
In the front row:Sir Edward Ponsonby (the Brikkish Ambassador to Port Brique) and the pirate Jane Hookhand

The Brikkish

Until Recently, the Brikkish staff in Port Brique consisted of Sir Edward Ponsonby (the Ambassador), his wife, and his bodyguard - a single member of the NSW corp (check out that NSW Corp Shako!).

In response to increased tensions in the South Pacifique, the Brikkish government have now stationed Lieutenant Dougal McDougal and a squad of highlanders in Port Brique.

Construction Notes
The Highlanders wear car-tyre busbies (see here for construction details). Torsos are printed copies of the LEGO soldier’s torso. Kilts are legs are (top down) 2 black 1x2 black plates, 2 yellow 1x1 round plates, 2 white 1x1 round plates, 2 black 1x1 plates (or a single black 2x1 plate, if you want to cheat!)

The Spanish

The Spanish are not always the enemy of the French, but often are. Capitaine Legaeux and Mayor Madeliene feel that it’s safer to treat them as enemies, unless there’s a very good reason to treat them as friends...

The Brunswickers

The Brunswickers are the enemy of the French. At least they are, until they dissappear at some point during the 19th Century.

The Austrians

Not alot to say about the Austrians. Not much of a Navy. Not much of a presence in the South Pacifique other than these two infantrymen.
