  Re: Honjin Stronghold

I knew you were working on something and I have been dying to see it! Really, the Bridge! The use of Brown! The 1x2 grilled brick floors! The Grey! The Tan! BURPY! Begin freak out: EEEE AAA OOOOHH - EEEEE AAAA OOOooHHH - EEEE aaaa -OOOoooH repeat as (...) (20 years ago, 2-Aug-04, to lugnet.castle.ninja)

  Honjin Stronghold

Some Samuri-style action for your entertainment...best when veiwed with a cup or 6 of sake. (2 URLs) slaves, pumpkin-head ronin, and demonic samuri, lots of stairs, what more do you want? -Keith (20 years ago, 2-Aug-04, to lugnet.castle.ninja, FTX) !!

  Re: Kumo assassination spider

(...) good stuff! You got me real interested in making a spider-style creation now, but mine will be a little bigger... think of yours as the jumping spider and mine... the tarantula. :) Rick (20 years ago, 28-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.castle.ninja, FTX)

  Re: Kumo assassination spider

(...) It was fun, and I really like how it turned out, but I think I've had my fill of building vehicles that are directly based on creature anatomy for a while. This makes three, along with the Suzumushi and the one that I brought to the last (...) (20 years ago, 28-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.castle.ninja, FTX)

  Re: Kumo assassination spider

(...) Well, on the basis that there's not a gap between the Bohrok eyes and the first pair of legs, and the Bohrok eyes serve much of the same function as pedipalps (except for the "reproductive male organ" bit), we'll say that those are pedipalps, (...) (...) That's kinda cool Purp. I might have to try my hand at a Spider as well! Cheers! Rick (20 years ago, 27-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.castle.ninja, FTX)

  Re: Kumo assassination spider

(...) Cool! Needs pedipalps, though (the small "5th pair of legs" just behind the fangs, that are quite prominent in some spiders). Could be a good way to add some tools for the pilot. (...)   Re: Kumo assassination spider

(...) Very cool! That's by far the best use I've seen with the angled cockpit piece for the 6x6 octagon. Everything is appropriately-sized, and the overall impression is very solidly spidery. The missile pack is a great addition as well. The legs (...) (20 years ago, 27-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.castle.ninja, FTX)

Re: Hikone Castle at LIC Orlando

Hi KK Quah, Your castle is great. I especially like the courtyard area with the fig procession. The bridge is also nice. The supports are unique and I like them. This is a very nice moc! Ben (21 years ago, 7-Oct-03, to lugnet.castle.ninja)

  Hikone Castle at LIC Orlando

Well, I am up this month at the LIC Orlando and I decided to do 2 things differently. First to have a MOC that was more of a story scene and second to use the vertical space a little better. I must say this is the best japanese style model ive seen. Though i have made a few in this theme they have never met the detail this one has partly due to a minifig scale. This however goes beyond that to emphasize detail over minifig function and (...) (21 years ago, 30-Aug-03, to lugnet.castle.ninja, lugnet.adventurers)
