Early Icon Sketches
November, 1996

The sketches below represent a few possibilities for the Trading Post, Marketplace, and Announcements (or What's New) icon labels for LUGNET. These might appear against a solid background, or inside a linear-gradient disc to give a uniform shape. In either case, the actual size will be approximately 64x64 pixels, full color, and made from photographs of posed minifigs, rather than from drawings. Orientations of minifigs may change according to aesthetic needs of icon ordering in the final embodiment, or they might not even be used at all. (These were just early sketches to explore possibilities.)
